A Strong, Weak Woman

I am a strong, weak woman made of flesh and bone.
God filled me with His spirit, now I’m never alone.

I am a strong, weak woman – hard times? I’ve had a few.
God promised never to leave me; and my strength He will renew.

I am a strong, weak woman, on my flesh I cannot rely.
God told me to trust Him always, and my prayers He won’t deny.

The tempter would have me think this test will be my end.
Oh! But this strong, weak woman knows in her God she can depend.

Test and trials may buffet me; yes, pain and suffering too.
But this strong, weak woman remembers all things work together for my good.

I am a strong, weak woman and to my Father I plea,
Lord please let Your power be made perfect; allow Your glory to shine through me.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Be blessed beloved, contend for the faith and hold on!

How encouraging! God’s grace is truly amazing…even in our human weakness, He makes us strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
