“This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Jeremiah 29:10-14 NIV

Where you are now is not your destination. There are seasons of struggle, pain, lack, and uncertainty all must face but our season is like the seasons of the earth they are for an appointed time but after the season is over change comes.

Do you know that every promise of the Lord is a covenant, an agreement that cannot be broken?

God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man that he should repent. He has promised in His word that when our season is over he will come for us, he will fulfill his promise and he will bring us to our right destination.

BUT the covenant does not end there.

It follows with his desire for us to come to Him, seek him with all our hearts and he promises that he will be found, he will hear and he will answer.

Beloved, do not lose heart in your situation – do what the Lord commanded the exiles in Babylon to do. Pray where you are, seek Him where you are and he will prosper you – yes even in the midst of chaos and confusion – God can prosper you where you are!

    • Aww, Emily what a compliment, what an honor! Thank you so much for thinking of us. Mom and I made a decision early on not to display awards BUT we accept them all in our hearts. In our case, it really is the thought that counts. Seeing your smiling face on your icon always makes me smile and knowing that you’re touched by the words written here is the best award.

Thank you *so* much – from Ma Chris and I both! Blessings dear friend and Congrats to you on *your* award! :)
